Jeffrey D. Manning, MD
Jeffrey D. Manning MD has an extensive background in non-operative orthopedic care. He was previously the fellowship director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at Brown University and was the Director of Sports Medicine at Affinity Sports Medicine where he specialized in primary care sports medicine focusing on orthopedic conditions & injuries. Dr. Manning is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Sports Medicine at the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University and the University of Massachusetts. He has been recognized for his work with medical students with the American Academy of Family Physicians National Teacher Development Award and the Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University Dean's Excellence in Teaching Award. He has also been honored as a "Top Doc" by the RI monthly magazine multiple times. Dr. Manning leads Coastal's Musculoskeletal Health Program which provides Coastal adult and pediatric patients with timely access to high quality non-operative orthopedic care. He also serves as an excellent resource for consultation and shared decision making when patients are considering orthopedic surgery.
William Christopher Muse, DO
Dr. Muse grew up in Maryland and developed a passion for medicine at a young age. Combining that with his interest in athletics and the health benefits of an active lifestyle, he decided to pursue a career in Sports Medicine. During his training, he gained extensive experience in the management of musculoskeletal injuries and non-operative orthopedic care in individuals of all ages and fitness levels. He also provided game coverage for high school and college football and basketball, high school hockey, and for the Cleveland Indians' AA affiliate Akron Rubber Ducks. Additionally, he provided medical coverage for multiple races and marathons within the greater Northeast Ohio region, including the Akron Marathon Race Series and the Northern Ohio Marathon. Dr. Muse's philosophy is to work together with his patients to identify each person's unique goals, educate them so that they have a strong understanding of their diagnosis, and then create individualized treatment plans to help them lead active, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Outside of the office, Dr. Muse enjoys spending time with his family, playing piano and guitar, hiking, and gardening.
