Coastal Cardiac Imaging Recognized for Excellence in Echocardiography
PROVIDENCE, RI (October 29, 2013) –Coastal Cardiac Imaging has received accreditation in the field of Echocardiography by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC).
After a thorough review by IAC’s panel of medical experts, it was determined that Coastal Cardiac Imaging met or exceeded national standards in providing quality care to their patients in the areas of Adult Transthoracic and Adult Stress. IAC is a “seal of approval” that patients can rely on as an indication that Coastal Cardiac Imaging has been carefully critiqued on all aspects of its operations in the field of Echocardiography.
“Cardiovascular diseases are the number one cause of death in the United States, but early detection of life threatening heart disorders and other diseases are possible through the use of Echocardiography procedures,” stated Joseph Terlato, MD, Cardiologist, Coastal Cardiac Imaging. “We are always striving to exceed what is required for accreditation by offering the most detailed and thoughtful care to our patients.”
Coastal Cardiac Imaging has been granted a three-year term of accreditation in Echocardiography for their excellence in the field
